We do not make, nor allow Google to make, any attempt to discover the identities of those visiting our website.

For example, personal data collected is the minimum necessary for the purpose of booking on our photography workshops and photo tours, and any follow up. We apply the best IT practices for the most secure system in order for data to remain secure. Fototonic is the registered business name of Setoro Limited, which is a privately owned business. All data collected is owned and controlled by the business. In some instances, for the purpose of marketing or the fulfillment of photography workshops and photo tours, there is legitimate reason to send client data to third parties. Contracts are in place with these third party companies (e.g. hotels) meaning there is no unlawful use of the data and we only pass on minimum data necessary for task fulfillment.

What information do we collect

Information that you provide to us when registering on our website, on the telephone, in person, or through the post includes the following: full name, address, telephone number and email address.
Information relating to the booking of your photography workshop or photo tour may include type of photography workshop or tour, details of past bookings, enquiries and feedback. Where necessary to fulfill third party contracts (e.g. hotels, ferry companies, etc.) we may also record details such as dietary or medical requirements, passport number, your insurance policy, date of birth, nationality and country of residence.
We use software tools such as Google Analytics to collect activity via our website for marketing purposes. We look at the following, but not exclusive to the channel the website was entered by, if an enquiry was made, session duration and pages visited. Telephone information including phone numbers and call duration that we use for training and quality control.

What we do with the information we gather

All of the data collected and stored is done so for legitimate reasons including: fulfilling our booking process, auditing and record keeping. From time to time, we may send out emails with offers and new products that we think to be of legitimate interest to those who have booked, or enquired with us before (if ticked on our form). Unless asked to unsubscribe from our mailing list, clients who have booked with us, and those who enquired but never booked, will receive these emails.
