This one-day intensive photography workshop will help you take your photography to the next level. We'll spend the morning out shooting and covering advanced camera functions and gain a deeper understanding of light and composition.
After a morning's shooting we'll stop for some image reviews. We'll move on through the afternoon with the aim of creating a personalised camera technique workflow that you can use again and again. We'll also discuss whether you are using the right camera equipment for your photography and identify the "must have" items that every good photographer should have in his or her camera bag. We will close the day with a round-table look at some of the images on laptops and the best way of processing your images using Lightroom. The menu of topics that can be covered include:
Depending on the group, we will quickly work out which of the above topics to cover during the day.
You should be familiar with your basic camera settings for this workshop. If you are unsure on this point, you might want to join our Digital Photography Course. If you have any questions before deciding to book, please click on the ‘Contact Us’ button at the foot of the page and we will get back to you. You'll need to bring your dSLR camera and a tripod - or a Micro Four-Thirds or Compact System Camera (e.g. Panasonic or Fuji). This is a small group workshop to ensure individual tuition throughout the workshop. If you need to borrow a tripod, please ask us - we have a couple of spare tripods available on a first come, first served basis. Meeting place and timings will be advised on booking.
Please note that we are currently running this workshop "on demand" - meaning we need at least four people to run this workshop. If you are interested, please send us an email and, as soon as we have four people interested, we will contact you to fix a suitable date.
